True Imagination is a Path to Your Desires

Putting aside my work on my next book Stress and Health: What you Need to Know for your Well-Being I decided to spend my time on reading Dr. Wayne’s book Wishes Fulfilled. His idea about our ability of day dreaming seemed to me very interesting and deserves to be shared with you.

All of us have heard that out thoughts tend to materialise. Based on this narration psychologists and metaphysics followers keep talking about the power of affirmations and day dreaming. All young people have their dreams, but when they become older not all of them follow their dreams. Why is it so? What is the major barrier in our path of achieving our desired goals?

Dr. Wayne assures that one of such barriers is the influence of other people around us. How often do we hear from others the phrase “you should do this or that and stop dreaming, be realistic”? Sounds familiar, isn’t it? If you feel that other people are intruding in your wishes and desires, it’s time to ignore other their ideas and advices about what you should think or do and to stay indifferent to their opinions. Come back to your dream and clearly imagine what you want to achieve.

Many years ago, when I was about 40 years old, some people even those who considered themselves my friends kept telling me: “You had already Master’s degree, you do not need to change your specialty and start everything from the scratch”. But, I was sure that education at that period of my life was the thing I needed the most in order to start writing in the filed of psychology. My journey started from getting a four-year B.A. in psychology at York University. I managed to finish the second in my graduation year. Two years ago, I was awarded a PH.D. in health psychology and last year has been offered to write a book based on the empirical evidence about stress and our immune system. The first step of my big dream has been fulfilled. Now, my journey as an author in psychology started. My first book The Bi-Directional Effect of Stress on Our Immunity is in the publishing process and is expected to be delivered to my readers in February, 2017.

Follow Dr. Wayne’s advice and you will feel proud of yourself:

Never, and I mean never, allow anyone else’s ideas of who you can or can’t become sully your dream or pollute your imagination. This is your territory, and a KEEP OUT sign is a great thing to erect at all entrances to your imagination. Stay in a state of grace and gratitude for this resplendent gift that is always yours to do with as you choose”.
